A Little Bit Of Hometown Pride

Wednesday, March 10, 2010

Huntington Park, home of The Columbus Clippers, (Minor League Triple A, To The Cleveland Indians) Was named best ballpark of 2009. It beat out the New Yankee Stadium, and Citi Field, home of the New York Mets. So yeah I'm pretty proud to say that the number one ball park of 2009 sits in my hometown. I have been to a few games, and i could not agree more. It's a mix with old and new. It also has something for everyone.

It features room for over 10,000 people, and high-res video board, suites, and views of the brilliant city skyline.
It opened in 2009. It was built by Turner and designed by 360 Architecture. It sits right next to Nationwide Arena, home of the Columbus Blue Jackets, of the NHL.
